If you were one of the estimated 2-billion viewers who tuned in to watch the most highly-anticipated weddings of 2011, then you must have walked away in awe. I must say, that I am one of you and I was so excited to see such an amazing union. Not only was it extravagant but it was electrifying!
I was just a toddler when the world witnessed the marriage of Lady Diana and Prince Charles. Thirty years later, I couldn't help but to stay up well past my bedtime to witness history in the making. Congratulations to William and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge! =D.

Kate's evening dress was another McQueen design. Of the two, the second dress is my favorite.

Besides the anticipated reveal of Kate's wedding dress, the eclectic hats adorned by many of the wedding guests was quite memorable. I'm a huge fan of accessories and hats are one of my faves. At this affair, these accessories ranged from elegant to even borderline crazy. Now's your turn, which one is your favorite?

I love the second dress too! Kate is so easy to dress...my goodness! She looks good in everything.
I loved, loved the hats and fascinators. I also loved the bizarre fascinator Princess Beatrice wore! The oval bow thingy was awesome...setting eyes on it for the first time I didn't know how to feel about it, but I quickly decided I loved it...lol. My favourite "normal" hat was worn by Zara Philips. She always looks good in hats.
I totally agree with you Sharon...I looooved the hats and fascinators. I think Princess Beatrice had a lot of guts to sport that very avant garde Phillip Treacy headpiece. My favorites (in no particular order) are:
-Prince Eugenia's blueish white-feathered Phillip Treacy hat.
-The very elaborate fascinators adorning the gorgeous Spencer sisters heads. =D.
